Archidona, a charming town in Malaga, has just opened a brand-new motorhome parking area, and it’s ready to roll out the welcome mat for travelers! Located conveniently at the town’s fairgrounds, this spot can accommodate around 30 vehicles, complete with water points and drainage systems—perfect for those adventurous souls exploring Spain on four wheels.
The opening event attracted a lively crowd of over 230 attendees and more than 100 motorhomes, proving that Archidona is on the map for tourists and expats alike. José Luis Quintero, president of the Andalusian caravanners association, highlighted the area’s appeal due to its proximity to the motorway and its rich cultural and culinary heritage.
Not only does this new facility prevent motorhomes from clogging up the streets, but it also promotes local businesses eager to share their delicious tapas and unique crafts with visitors. So, whether you’re a seasoned traveler or a curious expat, Archidona is gearing up to be your next must-visit destination in sunny Spain!
